Acceptable Use Policy

Scope and shared responsibility

This Policy applies to everyone who uses the GreenTokens platform, including every account, API key, application, agent and end user that reaches models through it. You may not use the platform, or help anyone else use it, to create, obtain, edit, distribute or profit from content or activity prohibited here.

This Policy forms part of our Terms of Service. You must also follow the law and the usage policies of the selected upstream model provider. Where they differ, the stricter rule applies.

Prohibited content

The following are prohibited whether the content is real, fictional, synthetic, AI-generated or AI-modified:

• Child safety: any content that sexualises, grooms, exploits, abuses or endangers a minor, including AI-generated child sexual abuse material.
• Sexual exploitation: non-consensual intimate content, sexual violence or exploitation, or content placing a real person in a sexual context without their consent.
• Violence and terrorism: content that promotes, glorifies, incites or helps carry out serious physical harm, terrorism or cruelty.
• Hate: content that incites hatred, discrimination or violence based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability or another protected characteristic.
• Deception and impersonation: misleading deepfakes, impersonation, fraud, defamation or false endorsements using another person's name, likeness, voice or identity without authorisation or clear disclosure.
• Infringement: content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property, or violates someone's privacy.

Prohibited activity

• Building malware, sending spam, running phishing or scams, or probing, overloading or disrupting the platform or anyone else's systems.
• Evading balance checks, pricing, rate limits, spend limits or other technical restrictions.
• Reselling raw access to the platform or your API keys as a standalone service, or sharing keys outside your organisation.
• Breaking the law, sanctions or export controls, or helping others do so.
• Using outputs for medical, legal, financial, employment, credit or other high-stakes decisions without appropriate human review.

Reporting misuse

Anyone can report prohibited content or activity by emailing support@greentokens.io with the subject “Content Safety Report”.

• Where you can, include the request ID, model, time, where you saw it, and which rule you believe was broken.
• Include screenshots or excerpts only where necessary, and never send passwords or API keys.
• Reports involving minors or imminent danger to someone are handled first.

How we review

We never store your prompts or the model outputs, so reviews are based on the report itself and on request metadata: request IDs, times, models, API keys and usage. The selected upstream model provider may also apply its own safety systems and refuse requests.

We assess each report and risk signal, decide whether a rule was broken, take action where needed, and keep a record of the decision. Only authorised people can access review material.

Enforcement

Depending on how serious, frequent or deliberate a violation is, we may take one or more of these actions. Serious violations don't require a prior warning.

• Refuse or block requests, and restrict models, features or API keys.
• Pause or revoke API keys.
• Suspend or permanently close the account.
• For serious or repeated violations, cancel remaining balance, except where the law doesn't allow it.
• Preserve relevant records and, where the law requires, report to or cooperate with the authorities.

Charges for completed requests aren't refunded because of enforcement.

Appeals and changes

If you believe we acted in error, email support@greentokens.io with your account email, the request ID or notice you received, and why you think the decision was wrong. We may ask you to verify your identity.

We may update this Policy as the law, our product or upstream model policies change. We'll update the effective date on this page and give reasonable notice of material changes.
