Privacy Policy

Scope

This Policy explains what information the GreenTokens platform collects when you use our website, dashboard and API, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account data: your email address, the name you choose to add, and when your account was created and last signed in.
• API key data: each key's name, status and spend limits, a hash of the key and a short masked form for display. We never keep the full key.
• Request metadata: for each API request: its ID, time, model, endpoint, the key used, whether it streamed, its status, token counts, cost and latency.
• Payment data: for each top-up: the amount, cryptocurrency and network, its status and payment references. We don't handle card or bank details.
• Support messages: the email address, subject and message you send us, and our replies.
• Technical data: basic information your browser sends with each request, such as IP address and browser type, used to deliver and secure the site, and to count page visits with cookie-free analytics.

Prompts and outputs

We never store your prompts or the model outputs. To fulfil a request, we send the relevant request content to the selected upstream model provider and return its response to you. What we keep is only the request metadata listed above, which we need for billing and your usage history.

The selected upstream model provider processes the request under its own terms and privacy policy.

How we use information

• To create and secure your account and sign you in.
• To issue, check and revoke API keys and enforce your spend limits.
• To route requests, calculate usage and charges, and show your usage history.
• To process top-ups and keep accurate billing records.
• To reply to your support requests by email.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

How we share information

• Upstream model providers: the content of each request, and only what's needed to fulfil it.
• Payment processor: the details needed to create and confirm your crypto top-ups.
• Infrastructure providers: services that host the platform, store its data, and send sign-in emails, acting on our behalf.
• Legal and safety: where required by law, or to enforce our Terms and protect our users, the platform or others.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Our page-view analytics are cookie-free and don't follow you across other sites.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. They're removed when you sign out or clear them from your browser.

International transfers

We serve developers worldwide, and upstream providers and infrastructure are located in different countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live.

Retention

• Account data is kept while your account is open. When you delete your account it's removed within a few days, except for records we must keep.
• Request metadata and payment records are kept as long as needed for billing, accounting, tax and fraud prevention.
• Support messages are kept as long as needed to resolve your request.
• Transactions recorded on a public blockchain are permanent and can't be deleted by us.

Security

We protect data with encrypted connections, hashed API keys and restricted access. No system is perfectly secure, so keep your email account and API keys safe too.

Your choices and rights

You can update your name and delete your account from Settings, and create, pause or revoke API keys at any time.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, export or delete your information, or to object to or restrict how we use it. To make a request, email support@greentokens.io. We may need to verify your identity, and may keep records we're legally required to hold.

Children

The GreenTokens platform is for developers and isn't directed at children under 13. If we learn we've collected a child's information, we'll delete it.

Changes and contact

We may update this Policy as the product or the law changes. We'll update the effective date on this page and give reasonable notice of material changes.
